   The General Directorate of Drug Control at the Ministry of Interior seized and arrest three persons tried to smuggle cocaine into Qatar. The ministry of interior along with Hamad international airport security department have arrest two women and one man, trying to smuggle in 10-kilogram cocaine  into the country following there arrest MOI have referred them to competent authorities to complete the legal procedures followed in such cases.

Qatar Ministry unveils monitoring vessels for maritime security and environment protection.   Qatar Ministry unveils monitoring vessels for maritime security and environment protection. The Ministry of Transport and Communications unveiled monitoring vessels as part of the Monitoring Vessels Project at the Pearl–Qatar along side  with several officials representing various departments working in the maritime transport industry. The monitoring vessels, which will be deployed on Qatari waters and ports, will support the security and safety of maritime navigation and protection of marine environment.
